Our rainbow trout are exceptionally versatile and pair wonderfully with fresh herbs, a variety of spices, and an assortment of salads or vegetables to create a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 2 Rainbow Trout Fillets
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp fresh parsley
- 2 tsp fresh dill
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- Thin lemon slices (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dill, parsley, and paprika.
- Place the trout fillets onto the baking sheet.
- Brush the trout on both sides with the olive oil mixture.
- Season both sides with sea salt and black pepper, leaving the fish skin side down at the end.
- If desired, place thin lemon slices all over the fish.
- Bake for 10 - 15 minutes until cooked.
- Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetable.
